On Thursday, July 22nd, the Senior Issues Task Force hosted the Senior Resource Fair.  Held at the Lincoln Park District, various local vendors, including Maple Ridge Care Centre,  sponsored booths to provide information and edcuate seniors on the many different resources available to them.  Maple Ridge Care Centre passed out free "goody" bags to the attendees.  Among the itmes in the bag, were magnets with emergency numbers, city and county maps and several brochures containing info on senior living/health issues.  To view  pictures and get more information on this event, visit http://archives.lincolndailynews.com/2010/Jul/23/Features/picturepage072310_shf.htm
